I bought a Groupon, how do I book?

• After clicking Book Online, select the number of people then choose the date and time.  During the checkout process there is a box that asks if you have a promo code, enter your Groupon voucher here.  The voucher number is the 8 letter code.  

What if I want to do an activity today?

• All bookings are done online at least 2 hours in advance.  Call for last minute availability.

When is my credit card charged?

• Your credit card is charged at checkout when you book your activity.  

What is your cancellation policy?

• No refunds are given.  We are happy to reschedule your game with 24 hours notice.

I made a mistake while booking, how can I fix it?

• Your confirmation email includes a link to change your booking.  

Logistics

Am I really locked in a room?

• No. There is an emergency door available at all times that you may exit.  Using this door will not count as completion.

What should I bring?

• The only thing that you will need is your brain. All additional items will be provided for you in the game.

How many people can be in the room?

• The room capacity is 8 for The Abduction and Escape from the Psycho Killer, 6 for Captive.  Exceptions are made for Escape from the Psycho Killer Private Room.

Will I be grouped with strangers?

• This depends on which game you will be attending and if the activity you booked is a private activity or not. If it is not a private room or you do not reserve the entire room/activity you will be grouped with other parties.

Can I use my cell phone?

• No phone use is allowed to assist in completing the activities. You may keep your phone on you but using it will disqualify you from completion.

What is prohibited in the game?

• Use of any outside resources such as, but not limited to: 

• cell phones (you may keep them on you but you may not use them to look anything up)

• any device not provided within the games 

• tools

• writing utensils of any kind (if a game requires a writing device it will be provided within the game)

• weapons of any kind

• drugs

• alcohol 

Can I take pictures?

• Yes, we just ask you do not reveil any answers to the challenges in your activity on any social media.

Are there clues?

• There are clues, but it is important to also observe, interact with the environment, and be creative to escape.

Can I use the bathroom?

• We do ask that if you use the restroom before or after your game time. If there is an emergency we will allow an individual to leave for the bathroom. The individual must request the bathroom break by notifying the host.

Are there age restrictions?

• No. While children younger than 10 will probably not find the game as enjoyable as the older crowd, they are certainly welcome to try.  Many tweens and teens find clues that adult brains completely pass over.   

I booked and apointment for my child's birthday party, can the kids do the room alone?

• Yes!  However, an adult must stay on the premises.  

Do I need to sign a waiver?

• Yes. All individuals who will be attending the game will need to sign a waiver prior to their game. An adult needs to sign for participants under 18. A copy of the waiver is available online. Click here to view the waiver.

Do I have to reserve my apointment in advance?

• Yes. All pointments are made online or by calling in to check last minute availability.

What happens if I'm late?

• The host will wait up to 10 minutes for latecomers.  At 10 minutes after game time the remainder of the group will be taken back to start.  If you arrive after the 10 minute grace period you will need to be rescheduled.
